Yes, you can ship alcohol with some exceptions.

Some carriers will not allow you to send alcohol or glass bottles using their service. It is important to check the carrier and service prior to sending your parcel as you could incur a surcharge or fee.

Shipping alcoholic beverages and liquids with alcohol content greater than 70% ABV may also be prohibited, depending on the carrier. Some countries outside of the UK will allow the shipping of alcohol, but this may solely be limited to wine and beer and may exclude all spirits. There may also be restrictions placed when shipping to specific areas. Other countries expressly prohibit the importing of alcohol.

The rules on shipping alcohol may also be dependent on the carrier you're using and the service you've chosen. We've compiled some standard rules on shipping alcohol from the UK below, however - it is your responsibility to be clear on the rules regarding domestic and international delivery restrictions prior to shipping your parcels.

Please contact us to discuss your requirements, prior to shipping items with an alcoholic content to ensure that this is permitted.

Please note - unfortunately, we can't facilitate the shipping of alcohol on an adhoc basis, but if you regularly ship alcohol as part of your business model - then we are more than happy to help. Please get in touch with us to discuss this in further detail.
